Libre 3 or Dexcom G6 sensors which one?

Libre 3 sensor is a new continuous glucose monitoring device now available to use in UK. It has the same eligibility criteria as fro DEXCOM G6 sensors but differs from Libre 2 sensor which is a flash glucose monitor.

DEXCOM G6 cost has been an issue for self funding patients so DEXCOM has introduced DEXCOM 1 in UK now (cost 900£ per year). It is much smaller in size compared to Libre 2 and DEXCOM G6 (discrete for people).

Libre 3 sensors are designed to be used with insulin pumps as DEXCOM G6 sensors. Await further updates from manufacturers locally in UK.
